Hey guys,
I refaced my odometer recently and noticed afterward that something looked different (aside from the fact that I could now read the mileage without squinting

). Fortunately, and unusually, I had the forethought to take a picture of the
odometer before refacing. Another shot of it. Then I noticed that the font was different on the
refaced odometer. I'm pretty sure that I know the answer, but is this the case with all of the refacing kits sold by all the vendors? And if so, shouldn't this be a relatively easy thing for them to fix? I mean the odometer strips are the simplest printed item in the whole kit, it shouldn't have taken much effort to get the font right, right?
Finally, has anyone recieved a kit with the proper odo font, and if so, from where? Also, has anyone had these odometers professionaly screened or reprinted with the proper font? How much did it cost?
I know this may seem like a minor annoyance, but I love that antique look of every part this truck and I know that every time I check my mileage I'll cringe a little inside seeing the more modern font glaring back at me.
Thanks in advance,
-Alan W.
