As expected there is some work needed 1 hinge pocket, 1 toe & rear corners...But it came with... 2 doors fair condition(still mounted hinges good shape),2 fenders, one needs a rear patch, a complete reupholstered seat, all the glass...and misc small parts....$500 local salvage yard | | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 443 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 443 | Sounds like a good deal to me.

What tool is required? Will a late model puller work or is it something special? Pulling column prior to cab comimg off frame.
While Im at it what about rusted brake & clutch pedals.....

Brad | | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 | Brad, this sping I started My restore on a 52-3100 and You do not have to pull the steering arm to remove the box just remove the 4 or 5 bolts holding it to the frame and turn it as you are sliding the colum out of the cab , rusted bolts I use rust free and than a impact with a 6 point impact socket if it a smaller bolt or nut I turn the air pressure down a little if it does not move, go one way than the other . I have started to blast all My small parts using a blast cab from Grainger than I paint them with Rust Stop primer from Ace and than paint with Rust Stop top coat the color I need ,it takes alot of time but now I go in the garage and see fewer and fewer parts all rusty and boxes of painted parts ready to install when the time comes {no time soon} Have fun, Pete | | |
