Does anyone have suggestions about the best way to get a valid appraisal for a restored stovebolt?
Many thanks. | | |

You tell them what you think it's worth and if they agree, they insure it. The downside is it can't be used for a daily driver. If yours is just a recreational vehicle you might check into it.

It took a little work but got both my 48 1/2 ton and 53 1/2 ton insured for what I considered "fair". also these are both daily drivers

I re-iterated to her that it was a driver and I was astonished at the minimal cost and that I still felt like something was just too easy about that and she said nope...all legit....having multiple autos on the policy may have had a lot of bearing too but I dunno...
I know some of the collector insurers will not write drivers or allow towing which killed it for me with boats...I tried some that I saw advert on "My Classic Car"....
