How is it attached and how can I release it? I need to remove the grill to gain access to the A/C condensor.

Be gentle because the clips get brittle over time and are easy to break off. Just checked a grille I have, it has 3 clips on the bottom. One is in the center and the other 2 are about 3 inches in from the turn signals. The clips stay with the lower valance and all the grille has are the square slots in it. | | |
