I would like to paint the body and the exterior of the dump the same color. Will 1 gallon do the job or should I get another quart or gallon extra? Forest Green is the stock color. I currently have one gallon. The dump is now POR15 Black and it states you can paint over this product. Stock rims were black.
You will have to rough up the POR-15 coating. Will you be using a primer/surfacer?

It might be a good idea to check into it. I am doing several areas on my truck with POR-15 and bought the tie coat to use over it. I don't want to spend $200-$300 for paint and have a problem with it.
