Came accross this very cool vintage traffic film clip on you tube. Thought maybe the big bolt guys would like to see it.
If you look close towards the end you will see a full autocarrier load of Nash Ramblers that were being built in the 50's in England for the North American Market USA & Canada.

Enjoy

Sheesh!! That makes me feel really old! dang

I can remember trucks like that,in fact I still work on some of them today.
Quite a few of my Haulage contractor customers have old trucks.

They sure liked to load them up back then!

Thanks for sharing.

I think those were Nash Metropolitans. Did I see a quick glimpse of a Borgword early in the clip?

I think MikeE is right, Nash Metropolitan. I was talking to one of the older guys in our Antique Car Club and he showed me a photo of one that he used to own. They are neat little cars. There is also a guy in our city who has one very unique Metropolitan Hot Rod & brings it to our wednesday night cruise. He bought it somewhere in California, its got Mickey Thompsons on the back, very narrow heavy duty rear end, a 454 under the hood! Very tight fit! Anyhow I thought it was kind of neat to look back and actually see antique cars when they were new.
