Does anybody know how the needle is held inplace? Does it snap in or something.

don't know if supereglue will work or not but I'm not tlaking about attaching the new needle to the old cover. My problem is getting the base to stay in the actual housing itself, the small needle doesn't seemed to latch to anything.
