I have tried goo be gone and a floor scraper. Im at a loos here. | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,262 Bubba - Curmudgeon | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,262 | Heat-gun and scrape.
Maybe a paint remover will loosen it a little.
In my 54, it simply took a lot of work to loosen it and scrape it off.

Heat it until it starts to bubble just a bit, let it cool for a few seconds and the scrape it off.

It was baked to death and flaked off easily. Maybe I was just lucky....... Hope you get it all off. Good luck. 1950 Chevy Advance Design 3100 in ScotlandIn the Stovebolt GalleryMore pix on Flickr.
