Ok so I got everything out of the cab and am trying to get the tar off of the inner part of the cab, in some places I can pull it right off and that part of the cab looks great, In other areas it is a patch of lining/tar and dirt and it wont budge. I have tried goo be gone and a floor scraper. Im at a loos here.

Heat-gun and scrape.

Maybe a paint remover will loosen it a little.

In my 54, it simply took a lot of work to loosen it and scrape it off.

If it's straight tar, I've always found that paint thinner works well to dissolve it.

Harbor Freight heat gun $10 and a set of $3 scrapers (you can chuck the scrapers when you finish and if you burn up the gun you won't feel bad). Heat it until it starts to bubble just a bit, let it cool for a few seconds and the scrape it off.

calhere...I'm suprised you're having probs...My truck came from So-Cal and every bit of tar board was like Bakelite!
It was baked to death and flaked off easily.
Maybe I was just lucky.......
Hope you get it all off.
Good luck.
