Anybody know what the original carb is for a 61 Apache? The original carb was replaced with whatever the previous owner could find. He plugged whatever fittings weren't being used and even put some kind of putty at the fuel line fitting so it wouldn't leak!

Rochester B. You can occasionally find them NOS on eBay. While you're there, look for a maintenance manual too. It sounds like you need one.

Concur with K10, Rochester B is the original one for the 235. I sold mine and went with a 2bbl from stovebolt engine co and it not only fit like a charm, it works like a champ. I think it was $200 with linkage kit.

Yep Rochester B You can buy a new /rebuilt one from Holley the Part number is 64-7128. Covers 1960-1962 235 Just put one on a 60 model.
