If I let it idle for a bit, it will run for a few minutes again. The fuel filter is clean, I tried a new fuel pump and the points are clean and adjusted properly. What could be doing this? Can it be the coil or condenser?
Any ideas?

Check for loose carb and distributor mounting bolts and for vacuum leaks. Make sure nothing is loose inside the distributor and it's holding its point gap. Make sure the vacuum advance is working properly, although it sounds like it is. Make sure there is no fuel line clogging as demand increases on reving. Just because the filter looks good doesn't mean something isn't plugging it somewhere else with tank sludge.
