For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 7 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 7 | I found a Bread truck for sale that is built on a '50 3/4 ton chevy foward control chassis. Body is all aluminum and is in great shape. It has 8 lug 15" split rims, single wheels. The engine condition is unknown, but I suspect that it is bad. How hard is an engine swap in a truck like this? How hard are parts to find? Seems like it would make a sweet swapmeet ride and camper. Thanks for the comments, Doug

Now I know where you got the idea for the 'shaved beaver look' that you put on that poor animal that you sent us.

It looks like the body would have to come off to replace the engine. Does it come out the bottom side? Doug
