The bumper on it was the same as on a pickup, and chromed as well. I am very certian that this was the origional bumper.My 41-46 2ton has a considerably wider and heavier bumper,non chromed.Are you sure your truck is a "2 ton".I was under the assumtion that they wer'nt started till the 41-46 series, with a heavy plate riited to the outside frame rail for extra strength!I am thinking your 40 will be the same model as this one I have, a 1 1/2 ton.If you would like to post the model number, I will get the one of this and compare.
