Gas tank sealer. I've used the POR 15 brand for (3) tanks and no problems. Do a search and you'll find the topic well covered, on what to use and how to do it.

JB Weld will do the trick. If you want too braze or soder it remove the tank.use another car start it up use a hose from the running cars exhuast to the tank to be repaired.let run for 10min or so.with the hose still in the tank an running, now you are safe to use a torch. No oxygen No boom.Water is a no no,

I couldn't find a radiator shop within 50 miles that would touch a gas tank. Depends on where you live I suppose. ohwell

I would agree with Tiny on that. Besides you wouldn't like what the tank would go through to weld that hole. First you would want to remove it and then they would fill it with water to weld it. A bunch of trouble and aggravation you won't like. Use the JB Weld - problem solved.

I used solid type (Not liquid) epoxy that you knead to activate.

I had to pull my tank (sat for many years) because it was full of varnish. Simms Radiator here in Atlanta hot tanked it for me, pressure tested it and painted it for $65. Told me that if it leaked, they'd line it for another $75. No leaks found - honest folks here didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.
