Steele, USA!!!! Before you install. put it in the sun then put tightly into opening, forcing rubber into corners and outward deep into pinch weld, cut some off but leave a few inches long and tape into place. You will have some rubber overhange because it's too long yet. Leave it there for a few days, checking that it is fully tucked in. then mark it exactly. I made a channeled holder out of wood (a jig). Put on the 3M wheatherstrip adhesive on the ends let sit per instructions on tube and bond. The channel jig keeps that butted secton straight and etc. Push together and hold with clampage of some sort, don't squeeze too hard, but make a tight joint. Once cured, install into window. If you don't want gaps and rubber that gradually pulls inward toward glass,, this is the way. Making it one piece before install this way looks really pro. I know you did not ask for this, but it's a good place for me to explain my method for consideration by others. Part of my jig was saw cut so that I cut the rubber straight with a sharp knife blade after into the jig, sort of like a miter box. Nothing is easy if you want it perfect. Bartamos.
