Hi,
I been going crazy on what color to paint my C70 J type ? truck.
It going to be my 5th wheel puller and will still be able to pull semi size trailers.

White maybe no red maybe no also .

I want a color that looks good with chrome and aluminum.

Right now its yellow with black fenders.

What color was it originally. I like the all steel (front clip) trucks like this. Nice one.

I'd keep the black fenders for sure. As far as the rest, almost anything would look good, in my opinion--red or white...even a lighter shade of yellow. How about dark blue, with the black fenders?

it was the yellow in the photo with the black fenders.

I was leaning toward the blue and black.

I so far made a bracket to put on a 359 peterbuilt bumper on to replace my bent up bumper.

Next after the body work is the rear section from a newer single drive with air ride and 3.38? gears I will just cut it off from a donor truck and weld it to mine.

How about a Orange color as that would go with the Black fenders. May be split up the cab into a tu tone Black top and Orange middle. Just a thought!

Solid Black or a Midnight Blue always look great with shiny stuff. I'd do the fenders in a soft or dull black and clear coat the rest of it for shine. Some polished Alcoa wheels and your lookin' good.

OK Its going to be blue , I don't know about the non gloss black fenders. Gloss or not to gloss?
Today spend steam cleaning the motor and frame.

I learned something today DON'T use paint thinner to clean your face. I would say it feels the same as if I put gas on my face and light it on fire. 4 hours latter and it still burns.
