I have a set of fenders that I thought were for a 36 1\2 ton
but they just don't mount right. Since I can't attach a picture
I will try to describe them. For the 36 1\2 T the front fenders are slightly rounded in the front and the curve ends right at the valance ( gravel shield) and turns back into the grill shell about 4 - 5 inches.
The fenders that I have are also rounded in the front but about 3\4 of the way across the front the fender curves down to the bumper mount, then flat for 3 inches and then back into the grill shell about 5 -6 inches. The valance that I have is to wide to fit between the fenders. The headlight mount is correct but the bow that holds the fender does not reach the outer edge of the fender. Approx 1\2 inch short. I believe that the fenders for a 35 or 36 are the same for car and truck, 1\2 T and larger. So maybe these are for a later model, 37 - 38.

This has put a real hurt on my restoration project because The fenders are in great condition,no dents, no rot and just a minimum of surface rust. Now I need to find a set that works. Once I find out what they go to I will try to sell or trade for what I need. any help would be appreciated. I should have never bought this "Truck in a BOX project!"

Hey Charlie...

Clicking my links at the bottom of this post you'll see my old '36 (which is now sold) and my '37 (that I still have.)

Which of the my trucks fenders do the ones you're selling look like?

I hope that helps... too bad they're not rear fenders for a '37... I'd be all over them! smile
