What should the interior colors be for a 1953 6400? When I got it everything was rusted so bad you couldn't tell the colors. Looking around I've seen dashes the same color as the exterior, as well as that gray color. The exterior color is Juniper Green I believe.

I'm looking for the dash, as well as the inside walls of the cab and door panels. Also, I bought some guage refacing kits from LMC trucks, got them, and they just don't seem to be quite the right color, is there anything closer than that, or to get it any closer would I have to get the sent off and painted or something?

I believe there is only one color for the interior of your truck. There are varying shades, depending on the manufacture, but only one was offered by the factory. In my opinion, Jim Carters interior paint is a good reproduction. I'm not sure about the quality of others. As far as decals for the gauges, they are all about the same. If you want a cleaner look of the gauges, your going to have to send them off to J.C. or Bowtie Bits and have them resurfaced. They do good work, but it will effect the pocket book. This is only my humble opinion. You can paint it any color you like if your not concered about factory color. Cecil...........

Oh, nice. I didn't realize you could buy paint from Jim Carter. Looking at the prices for those gauges, I think I'll stick with my stick-ons. Anyone against spray paint, or got a recommended brand and color that is fairly close to the original color?
