The first kind of vehicle I have ever wanted was a 1955 Chevy truck. I always thouht that they had the perfect stance. One day while going by a place in town (that is always filled with old vehicls) I saw a 1955 Chevy stepside shortbox parked up front. It was love at first sight. But the only problem was that i didn't know who to talk to to find out if the truck was for sale. A couple days later, there was a phone number on the windsheild of the truck. I instantley called the number and it turned out that the owner of the truck was the husband of our neighbours daugther. So we talked out a deal and I asked what kind of motor and tranny were in the truck. To my surprise it was a 327 engine with a 2speed powerglide transmission. A couple days later I met up with the guy and paid him for the truck. We than startd talking and made a deal that if i would help him fix his vehicles, he would help me fix my truck. I have been working with him ever since and learnt alot. I also got my dream truck to:).
Since the 327 is seized, I plan to put a 350 in it while I unseize and rebuild the 327.

That's a real solid start! I really like the 5-6-7 Chevy's as well. Keep us in the loop on your progress!
