drive Well, up and down the driveway, at least! And moving under her own power! It's been 17 months since I brought the bucket of bolts home that I lovingly named Pauline (after a favorite aunt), and work on her has been steadily sporadic ohwell, mainly due to my budget. I did do all the work myself, including a frame and cab restoration, replacing the bad inline-6 with a 6.2 liter diesel, complete plumbing and rewiring, and paintwork.

I thought I would have it on the road a couple of months ago, but I had a bad injector pump and fuel shutoff solenoid on the diesel, then it blew a couple of freeze plugs. I decided to replace them all, along with the questionable water pump. Today my son and I got the new water pump in, filled her with fluids, he manually put the transmission in drive, and we took her for her 800' maiden voyage. Now we have new issues to work on: the power steering pump is bad, I have a crack in the water crossover, and I still need a shifter. Still, at least the list is a lot shorter! Now I can work on INDIVIDUAL things, and not have to worry whether the WHOLE is going to work or not.

It's a big relief!

Your truck looks great. I do not know much about the COE trucks. Was this truck used as a fifth wheel truck? The frame looks short. Thanks and keep having fun.
