| | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 158 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 158 | After replacing gaskets and other things yesterday I managed to forget to plug the hot wire running to the electric choke which inturn fried something. The wire runs to the ACC on the ignition switch. I now have NO power to the switch and wonder in someone in here might have a suggestion. It looks to be an old time painless type. I have checked the very few fuses. I have lights but NO powere to switch. There is probably a fusible link somewhere??? Any suggestions please respond.

The ign switch gets power from the amp. gauge along with the lights. Beings the electric choke is ad on there might be an inline fuse some where in the wire. You could have burn out the ign. switch.

Now I ca drive this thing with NO oil leaks...finally. Found that the crank dampener had a big groove and needed replacing. Went to the one piece oil pan gasket and got my Corvette valve covers installed.
I will be posting some new photos of the new stuff this weekend if the rain stays away. Thanks for the help partner.
