I suppose this has been asked before. I did a search and came up empty.

Can AD truck rear fenders be cut down to fit on AD Panel/'Burbs?

Sure looks like a good metal person could pull it off to me...

No - the AD pick up truck fenders have more outward bow to them. The panel and 'burb fenders are flatter outer face. I already trying it , and the fenders didn't look right on the panel/burb.

I've seen it done successfully. But the purpose was not to 'replace' the stock fender, but rather to fit the opening and cover a tire put further outside the side of the truck.

You are right OldSub. If you got a modern rear axle that is too wide, then the cut down pick up fenders will work at covering up the tires. This would be most likely used in a street rod situation. Or - If you were staying stock but wanted to put a dually rear axle in it, that would be a wild set up.
