There has to be a little movement available since the engine/trans is mounted in rubber. Flex pipe wears out and/or leaks in a very short time, so you'll be fixing leaks often.

| | | | | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 355 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 355 | well unless you are going to run insulators over the pipe ends don't bother painting those running boards the heat off them will take any paint or coating right off those running boards and for arguement sake say you do run insulators they require 1/2" gap around the exhaust and last time i looked running boards arn't thick enough to evelope those under the running boards would be about the best you can hope for
