I was thinking that if I replaced the window regulator I might just do power windows.

The regulators,motors & switches all came from an early 70's caddy,my uncle did the conversion cutting the roller ends off the stock regulators and welding them on to the caddy regulators.
Now I was told by him that it took several attempts and lottsa curse words top make them fit! also it required cutting a good size hole in the doors inner panel to get em in there.
I will say that they work very well and I love em.
But this is a project that takes time and some fab skills to accomplish.
