I know I could pull one of mine, just not looking to cause any problems. Just looking for the stock length of a head bolt. Thanks. | | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 610 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 610 | and total length is 3.55" from top to bottom. Length of the threads is 1.06". Diameter is 3/8". For my power steering conversion on my 235 I used bolts from a Jeep inline 6. The overall length is a bit longer so I ended up cutting about a 1/2" off. The thread length came out to be the same and so did the overall length, and a plus was it had a 7/16" stud on top which I used to bolt my upper alternator mount to. More details on my conversion here https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=494191#Post494191 | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 42 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 42 | Thanks, thats what I needed. | | |
