Patrick's Antique Cars & Trucks has the 3.55 ring and pinion conversion-set for 1937-1955 1/2 ton rear-ends back in stock. The complete installation kit is also in stock.

These have not been available for about a year and they have a habit of selling out quickly.

No spider gears in the ring-and-pinion set, nor in the installation kit.

FWIW The carrier in a Canadian torque tube has a bolt circle 3/16" bigger than the pattern on Patrick's ring gear. Carrier modification or replacement with a U.S. component are required for us northern folks. Mine had bronze thrust washers against the spider faces too that I never saw in any repair information.

I was looking in a trader magazine and I notice someone selling a center section from a 55 car. Is it interchangable with the trucks?
