I had installed a new fuel sending unit in my 65 and wired it to a new fuel gauge but it seemed to not work correct. I found the wire that was broken from the old fuel gauge to the sending unit. now with the ignition off my fuel gauge reads full and when i turn the ignition on it reads only three quarters. The fuel tank is full. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Take the "search" link just above your post & put Gas Gauge in the search box. You'll find what you seek.
