Yes, alive and doing quite well. I'd like to change from non detergent to detergent in my 235. What is the best method. Haven't dropped the pan for 3-4 years but last time I did it was cleaned out completely.
Should I drop and clean the pan, change the filter and simply load up the engine with some 30w detergent?

It is no big deal to stick new detergent oil in your rig. The only concerns would be that this new oil would loosen up any old gunk and tend to plug small orifices and/or a oil filter. I personally don't think the detergent additives in the modern oil are that aggressive.
The oil has components in it that encapsulate any contaminant and hold it in suspension so it can be flushed when you drain your oil. That is why oil turns black...it's all the junk the oil is holding within itself, junk that isn't deposited on the interior of the engine.
All this BS aside, I would put your new oil in along with a new filter and run it for a thousand miles or so. Then drain it and replace the oil and filter and follow the regular drain schedule.

So since I've cleaned out the pan a couple times before, just skip dropping it?

I sure wouldn't go to the bother to drop the pan especially since you've done it recently. Swapping from non-detergent to detergent isn't a real traumatic event.
Drop me a note when you're in the area and we can swap BS.

However, if the engine has not had the pan cleaned recently, I think I would go through the effort of cleaning the pan before switching to detergent oil. This is just precautionary and might be unnecessary (as Stuart suggests).
