Jul 21st, 2025 | | | | Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 39 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 39 | I noticed that on my old rear parking brake cables (long bed, fleetside) that where the cable is mounted to the trailing arms there is a rubber cover over the section where basically the exposed steel cable goes into the covered portion that is mounted to the backing plate of the axle housing. The problem is that none of the online parts stores show that cover as part of the parking brake cables they sell nor is it sold individually.
