Dan B. Wrench Fetcher D Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 71 Texas	I have just started dismantling my new-old 53 Chevy 3100. Lots of rust but as I begin to strip paint and rust I am trying to determine what color the inner fenders, radiator shroud-hood latch support were painted at the factory. It appears they were some type of black originally but I also wonder if the outer fenders were painted the body color inside as well. I'm sure this has been discussed before but a site search didn't answer it. Thanks

I found traces of blue paint inside my front fenders,although that might just have been overspray. I'm painting the underside of mine black POR-15.
