Will this be a standard Chevy 292 item, or will I have to use one intended for another engine? Any tips are greatly appreciated! | | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | It will will work fine if you have enough clearance between the pulley & radiator. There are 2 sizes of bolt patterns on the pumps & pulleys for this. The 292 generally uses the larger one. If you match that up it should work. You might consider an electric fan. Is there a photo of your Grumman on here anywhere. I'm an old Step van mechanic. The Grumman was the best body. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | |
