I checked the adjustment and it is ok. A friend of mine said I could replace all my lifters even though the cam isn't brand new. I always thought that the cam had to be replaced with the new lifters. Is that just an old wives tale?? :confused:

And check the rest of your valvetrain for wear before you go replacing lifters. Perhaps cleaning the gunk out of the lifters may help. Are they hyd lifters? What year is the engine?
