The block is a newer one piece rear main seal block if it makes a difference.
What radiator hoses are you using?
Thanks a ton!

As a matter of fact, I have one spare sitting in the shop. LMC sent me two replacements when I only needed one, and then wouldn't let me send it back to them. I should be able to get you the info by about 6pm tonight. Work on graveyard shift and must get the sleep in before the kids get home! | | | | Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 72 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 72 | If you like, PM me your number and I'll get a hold of you as soon as I'm up. | | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 28 Apprentice | Apprentice Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 28 | Don; Thank you so much for the phone call and help. After looking at your pics; I discovered my motor brackets are not stock. Mine actually bolt to the top of the frame with two bols and the bottom bolts through the engine cross member with one bolt. They are a factory piece but not from this year truck???

You might check on the trans/driveline section and ask someone who has made the turbo 350 mod what they did? Sorry I'm not able to help more, but I've just caught this addiction and only have the one truck.

I just discovered the same. The 2WD brackets are correct on my truck. I just don't understand how I pulled a 350 out of the truck, but the new 383 won't drop right in. It is oh so close. I just can't line up the one side when I try to put the bolt through the bracket into the rubber motor mount. It's like I need a 10 ton press to push the engine farther down between the brackets. I guess I'll have to notch the holes in the brackets so they spread wider apart.

Bottom is loosened. The 350 and 383 should be the same width. All I can figure is that the old rubber motor mounts were a tad thinner. ???

I can line up the bolt hole on one side but not the other. Either the right side motor mount will line up to the hole in the bracket or the left side will. Can't get both to line up.Three different people have tried it now with no luck and alot of frustration.
