Finally found a good 14' flatbed for my 56 6500. I'll make the 4th of july parade this year. Oddly enough this bed came off a 1990 GMC/Isuzu truck but i sure am happy about the condition.

Hey, that looks like it will fit great! Does it have metal decking? I was going to swap out my wooden bed for a metal one so as not to destroy the good original with with use. But now I'm just selling the whole truck, which is a bummer.

I would advise you place a 1x3 under the longsills and on top of the frame to raise it up a bit. It appears that the tires are very close to hitting the bottom of the floor and with any load they would hit. Then again maybe your just using it for parades.

probably will be a 4x4. I have to do some modifcation as the frame rails are wider on my 56 than the new bed sills
