For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 88 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 88 | I have a 62 c-10 stepside, numbers matching, it is all original except for the hub caps and radio. The old gal isn't very fast or agile but is very dependable. I drive it everywhere I go including the whole 3 miles to work. It was originally a California truck, still have the black cali license plate. The previous owner said to hang onto it, not sure for what reason but I still have it. These old trucks are a joy to drive and it is actually used like a truck. I haul wood, furniture or whatever in it. I let my brother drive it one day and he's wanting to get an old truck now.

A truck sure doesn't need to be new to be useful!

When I get close to driveable I will have him restore them for me. 62Blue Don

I'm currently in the process of installing new bed boards and putting zero rust on the frame. And I just scored some correct hub caps that I have been repainting. I will post some new pics when I am finished.
