I plan on putting a water pump adapter on my '54 1-1/2 ton which will be powered by a '62 235 from a '62 c-10. What is the ideal water pump pulley to harmonic balancer pulley ratio so the water pump isn't spinning too fast or slow?

I'd say they are pretty close to one/one judging by whats on my engine. I'll try to measure them and post it here tomorrow.

i used the plate on my 1960 235. i ordered the waterpump with a 3/8
pulley to run the alt. i reused the 5/8 balancer this lets the 3/8 belt ride low and reduce the pump speed. oh it may have been a 1/2
balancer im not sure but it works fine. philip
