There are some other options for boosters besides vacuum type. Do a search on some of the hotrod sites and you will get some ideas.
Basically though, you just need to move it straight back until it clears and build a mount for it. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 | Chuck... I bought one with a 7" dual diaphram servo,it gives you a little more clearance although I have heard that some folks have had problems usung a manual trans. As you can see I had to off-set my X-member (A lack of foresight on my part!) but had no clearance issues with the booster itself. It's a TH350 trans BTW. Mine was from Master Power Brakes.
