Picked up another truck for my stable . A '48 1 1/2 ton with hoist . It has been up graded to 12 volts and a 235 engine . Had to do some basic tuning up of the engine and draining of the fuel tank of it's bad gas but she's up and running. The hoist needs fluid and greasing as does the rest of the truck . Jock - the vidio is no longer availiable but knowing you it was a good one . I know of several AD trucks ( Big Bolts) that are in less than a 20 mile radius of my place and Really have to keep myself from going to the owners and trying to get them . You can't have too many trucks unless your bank account says so . Too many trucks and not enough parts ( cash ) - Oh well ! And you can't find any across the sea . Life is not fair but what is ? ED H

I think Ed's trying to set up the Stovebolt equivalent of an animal welfare centre.
He's travelling the country gathering up all the strays and then nurses them back to health

The only problem is..... he won't set them free after!

Now guys I can't help it if old AD chevy trucks jump out in front of me ( not to mention the '60's vintage I'm not interestd in ). Took a differant way out to my friends ranch and found another AD big bolt and just keep on driving . I don't have the money to corner the market but I sure could double my collection in a short time if funds were availiable . The sad thing is I know that for every truck I know of there is at lest two that I don't . Ahhhhhhhhha I'm going crazy(er) . Plenty of trucks to get but poor as a church mouse . ED H

OK OK Yes I'm a gready ol cuss - may one or two could find new homes to deserving stovebolters except to those in Scotland or Hawaii - those guys tease me too much and hurt my delicate constitution. I'd even let you visit but only if you bring the hot dogs - the Good ones not el cheapos !
