I'm painting one of my 48 4400's two tone. Black fenders, red cab and hood. I don't have a chrome grill so I need to know how to paint it. White background with black, red, silver or white bars or something else. Haven't decided on wheel color yet. Gonna wait until the rest is done to see what it looks like. Anyone have pix of a black fendered truck with a painted grill? Any and all opinions welcome!
Scott

I think, I would go with red bars and a white background.
Of course it's all a matter of personal taste. And the final decision is up to you.

Take a look at some of the Chevs that are for sale to get ideas. It costs nothing to look. http://www.jaxed.com/cgi-bin/mash.c...l=&ys=&ye=&submit=++++go++++

Thanks guys. I thought more people would chime in when I asked for "opinions", LOL. I'm leaning towards the red bars with white background,

Hey scott, nice to see you like living on the "edge",what with asking all the boys for their opinion.Just imagine the responses you would get if we all gave you one! grin While i have your attention, whats with the picture. You look like a deer caught in the headlights of a big bolt, and your wife looks so happy, you would think you just told her she could drive one of your bolts to work. grin wave

We were goofing around at a 50's/60's party that we through for her parents 40th wedding anniversary. If the picture was bigger you could see her poodle skirt and my rolled up jeans and high top Converse shoes,
