Hello everyone. Yep I just purchased a 1965 suburban. It has lots of rust (rocker panels, fenders, some on the floor boards) but the 292 runs well. I plan to restore it stock except for some upgrades to the interior. I didn't pay much for it, but at least it runs down the road and without anything falling off!!

I'm looking forward to this project and I'm glad there is a Sub forum to tap info. from.

Soon pictures should be up in the gallery.

Thanks,

Iron Clad

Sounds like mine. I earned a 63 panel in dire need. if it wasnt a panel it wouldn't have been worth redoing. I had to replace eng/trans, entire front clip, both floor sections, doors, thresholds, both rear sides, and tank. any questions or if you want photos of what ive done so far email [email protected]
