I know there was a old post about what year ps parts you can swap in . My truck is a 62, took some time off working on it too busy with the my shop. However I have now gotten the very close to paint ready. I have all of the parts jammed and painted on the inside. Almost done with the front end work and want to add the ps steering. So if any one knows the year for the swap that would be great. Truck is a 62 but can from GM with 63 style under pinnings.

The conversion includes a Saganaw steering box from a 67-87 GM truck and a frame bracket available from various suppliers.
You will also need the pulleys, pump, brackets & hoses for your specific application.
Modification to the steering column along with a rag joint or universal is required.

I would buy the complete kit, it will be easier in the long run. I pieced mine together from different suppliers and it was a real pain. I probably didn't save any money doing it that way either. I know www.brotherstrucks.com sells a complete kit for $699.00
