I am going to replace my 235 and cant find one, but have found other 50's engines on craigslist etc.. I jsut dont know what engines would slide in w/ minimal hsadache. so 200? 260? etc. can I unbolt and rebolt these up to me trand and mounts?

| | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | A 1955-59 truck with a six mounts on the very front sides and on the bellhousing.
A 1955-59 261 has spots for the front side mounts and the same bellhousing bolt pattern as a 235.
If you want to adapt to center side mounts than any 1960-62 261 would work also.
