Are you referring to tube that should run from the carb to the vacuum advance unit on the distributor? Or, are you referring to the choke heater tube used on an automatic choke?
Now, it turns, but I can't remove it. What is "it" and "it" - the tube connected to the carb?
I'm assuming the brute force method is a bad idea... Where and how would you be applying brute force? To remove the tube from the carburetor?
If you are referring the remains of a vacuum line going into the carburetor, what type of fitting is between the tube and the carburetor? If you are referring to an automatic choke heater tube on a Rochester one-barrel carb, I think it just pulls off.
