For those who may be looking for replacements for the rear quarter panels on one ton panels I would like to let you know of my experience with Ray Stanley .

I cut off what was left of my rear panel and sent it to him . The returned product fit against the fender perfectly and the shape was indistinguishable from the original part on the other truck . He gave me plenty of metal to cut and tuck back into surrounding metal . He now has a template to reproduce this part if you need it .

Everything was delivered as promised , and he gave in true Stovebolt fashion lots of advise . I should also say that he can make a lot of those "store bought" pieces for you at a good price.

He did a very nice job on my door hinges. He does some very amazing work and is a great source for excellent advice.

Ray has taken care of my sheet metal needs also. Great parts and awesome service.

I have been dealing with Ray for at least 8 years. He has saved me a lot of agony and hunting on 3 different projects.

1946 Suburban Rear Valance, lower door and cowl patch panels.

I agree with everything these other guys say about him, lets keep him busy and you will not be disappointed.

How much for a patch panel? Have a friend rebuilding a 48 GMC burb that needs those. He has been trying to fab his own out of sheet metal from his frame donor car, but so far no luck.

Its been quite a long time ago but if I remember correctly it was about $200 for the pair. Might I suggest contacting Ray directly?
