Anyway, I was wondering what heads from different engines I could use and which might be the best?...The original head? or maybe a later one. Which heads will fit my 1947 235? Looking for help.

Babbit bearings and high speed aren't necessarily a problem, but a low-pressure splasher engine will be terribly unforgiving of any mistakes in getting the rods lubricated!

I wanted the 235 for the extra cubes but I have a Nicson side cover I wanted to use. I also have some old Barker high lift rocker arms, Mallory dist., and some other goodies. I'm just looking for the best head to put on it. Thanks for the input guys.
