I don't know much about them.Is it werth rebuilding.Also I didn't mention that the truck it came from was in a garage fire.

The head code is supposedly not for a Corvette head but it is a 1953 code (most likely it has two bolts holding the valve cover to the head). Is there a serial number (code) pressed into the ledge in the block, just to the rear of where the distributor enters the block? This would help to confirm the original use/year of the block. If this is a Corvette block, it might be of great interest to anyone restoring a 1953-55 Corvette.
