I have never seen Omaha Orange, except on paint chips on line...

Gab's truck body is with the body man and she wants orange. I think she'd like us to go with an original '54 color but I'd like to see at least one pix We are trying to get her truck ready for her graduation and it will be a surprise.

I have searched in the Gallery but Rick Young's '41 in the Gallery doesn't show the pix when I pull it up frown

I came up with this but it's a die-cast...

Does anyone have any photo of a truck of any year painted Omaha Orange?

Thank you for any and all replies, in advance.

Dan- Thanks a bunch and that is a neat color on a beauty of a truck cool

Gablet had seen this orange AD from Classic Trucks magazine and it's what got her going on orange.

I believe the AD is a bit brighter/lighter. Anyone care to give their opinion?

Sabrina, this is MY color going on the panel this week.

Do a google search on this Bizen Orange, Sunset and you will see the color. To me the color doesn't look the same on the web site as what I see in real life but it is the one I choose!

It is different smile Its the one in the middle.

Gracias Sabrina. I like the orange.

When I paint my 53 it may be that orange.

You and your daughter have good taste in color.

THESE GUYS have a color called Omaha Orange. I have their chips and it's indistinguishable from the Omaha Orange chip on my 1952 DuPont paint chip page.

As I mentioned above the color chip does not do my color orange justice. TONIGHT I looked at my rear fenders, hood and inside of the two rear doors painted Bizen Orange,Sunset and I was absolutely pleased. It looks just like what I expected.

My other choice would have been the Prowler Flame Orange. It and the one I choose are very close but the Bizen is a tat lighter.
I will post pics on a post in the paint and body tomorrow and you can see the hood ect....man, I'm getting pumped now. The main body will be painted the first of next week.

I like the Tennessee orange.

I have seen many Chevy Tahoes in Oklahoma with a nice burnt orange color. I think they like the color around OSU. It is a little darker orange.

Here is a '59 Fleetside with Ivory that was on Ebay a few years ago. More pictures of her in my webshots.

Here's a picture of my truck taken several years ago. This isn't the original color of the truck (it was Maroon) so I don't know if its exactly the right shade, but its definitely orange. I'm probably going to change it back to Cape Maroon or to Cream Medium. I'm not as into bright colors as I used to be.
