I beleive the K5 axle will be too wide, but will keep the 6 lug wheels. The S Blazers are the same as their pickup relatives, and are 5 lug. If you go the S truck/Blazer route, look for a '98-'04 4 door or ZR 2 truck. They have 4 wheel disk brakes, easy upgrade. Also, the ZR 2 has a modified full size truck axle, which is stronger than the std S truck axle.

I have seen a couple of 2 wd extended cab pickups with them also.
