Let it cure and you should be good to go, no different than using JB-Weld on a gas tank, right? | | | | Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 385 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 385 | Hey jdl, I've never used JB Weld before. I've got a fuel leak where the filler tube goes into the tank. Anything special I should know before using JB Weld there?

It is supposed to be ideal for doing this kind of thing, and it's just about the cheapest thing you can do. My brother just fixed a leak in his tank too with it. Oh, if you're in a hurry and don't have the time to wait for it to dry the whole day or two, you can pay a little more(couple dollars) for JB Quick, and it sets up in a matter of minutes and is ready to be used in probably an hour or two. Just follow the directions and it works as it says. | | | | Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 385 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 385 |
