Since I had it out I took it to a radiator shop and had it cleaned. Now the case is ready to be cleaned and painted. This heater is basically a square box with one side angled to match the firewall. Ii has holes on the front that looks like it had a badge or emblem rivited to it at one time. It would be a strip 1/2 inch wide and about 3 3/4 in long. Can anybody id this heater from my description? Also it had been painted black, but looks like it may have been interior color originally, so can any one confirm that? There are a couple of stock heaters that would fit your truck, but they are not square. Without a picture, its hard to say what someone put in there.
